Does fintech pay well? What can we expect when entering into the fintech world in 2022? Is the pay better or worse than traditional banking?

We found by doing some searching that the average salary is pretty good.

And, well according to Fintech Salary in USA – Average Salary (talent.com) we find some really interesting results. Firstly, that the per hour is $64.10. When you break it down experienced workers make $180,000 vs entry level positions at between $50,000 and $75,000 per year.

This is better than being a lawyer, but lots of lawyers work pro bono, while NOBODY in Fintech works pro bono, so when you consider that, if you are only about the money. Go for the Legal World! Where you will have a much more consistent income stream.

But, if you are after the riches of a successful fintech company startup, well then prepare to make nothing for many years as you constantly reinvest your “earnings” back into the business. And make no mistake, unless you are growing off the handle, you will want to INCREASE marketing spend every quarter. We all know you grow or you die.
