What’s The Story With That? Especially in 2022, what can a prospective employee expect?
Can any job become negotiated to be a remote job?
Or is this really a case by case or company by company issue?
Some say any job has the potential. Its really about how much the employer needs the prospective employee and that one in particular. Plus, how much of an office environment is important to that particular firm.
But what about jobs that advertise as partial work from home work at the office? Are we setting ourselves up for a trap. One where the expectations quickly shift from say one or two days a week to 3 or 4 days a week? But, how much can you really trust anyone or any firm? Moreover, what if that is a deal you made with your previous boss. However, your new boss has a different idea regarding expectations of office appearances. Maybe its in your contract sure. So you can enforce it. Yes. But, at what cost? Will your bonus become the casualty of your guaranteed work from home status?
