So you have chosen to work in the new capital of the FinTech universe, New York City! Move over San Francisco for New York!
With thousands and thousands of open positions. New York region has something for everyone! Almost every type of FinTech imaginable resides in the Big Apple and needs new hires. Even some that are firing will want to replace them maybe with you younger or cheaper options. But, a simple search on Linkedin reveals more than 8,000 open positions in the New York City region or area. And this compares very impressively with the previous FinTech capital of the United States, San Francisco. Which only boasts 6,000 FinTech jobs on Linkedin.
But, what you want to make. And what culture you are looking for is critical. New York has the serious tie and jacket firms and the get drunk and high Silicon Valley esque party firms. The ones that are still trying to recapture their college glory days for ever and ever.
The new World Trade Center has become in many people’s views the mecca of FinTech in 2022.
