This is a mid-senior level position on the Data Science team. You will work closely with team members to quantify weather risk using Arbol’s proprietary risk framework. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing exploratory data analysis on weather and climate data stored on dClimate.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject (Meteorology or Atmospheric Science preferred)
- Experience using Python (pandas & numpy) to analyze weather data
- 3+ years experience
- Familiarity with statistics and probability theory
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced environment
Firstly, Arbol is a financial services company that helps business entities protect against climate risk. Furthermore, our mandate is to modernize and grow the climate and weather risk spaces in all directions.
